It is the 10th year anniversary of ESN Bahçeşehir, this year. We support the adaptation of exchange students in Bahcesehir University since 2007. Our Buddies become best friends of the exchange students and help them throughout the year. We give chance to our exchange students to learn about our culture and make the most of their exchange experience with the events we organize. With our ExchangeAbility and SocialErasmus events, our both local and exchange students get involved with social actions to create awareness and make a change in the society. With our ExchangeAbility project called Wheelchair Basketball Match organized with the cooperation of our buddy section ESN YTU, we won an International STARaward and a National STARaward as well as a SeCoSTAR award for our sections cooperation. Last but not least, we had the opportunity to host ESN 101 Istanbul in our university, this year.
The slogan "At the heart of Istanbul" is suitable for a university like Bahcesehir University (BAU)... With its main campus on the edge of the Bosphorus in Besiktas, each day begins early with rapid mobility and continues throughout the day. The first thing that will strike your eye when you enter our university will be a large number of foreign students. From the United States to China, from France to South Korea from a wide geographical area extending over a thousand foreign students are studying at BAU.
