ESN Bogazici is an official student club at BogaziciUniversity responsible for the social, cultural and practical integration of the Erasmus/Exchange students, that aims to assist incomers on their stay and help them have the best experience possible.
We were founded in 2009 as an ESN section by a group of Bogazici students who were really enthusiastic about starting a community which would help Erasmus/Exchange students and as of 2012, we became an official student club of BogaziciUniversity. Today we receive hundreds of incoming students each year and work with our tireless team to offer help to the incoming students both on the mechanics of their stay and their integration to the life at Bogazici and in İstanbul.
This is mainly done through activities that include cultural and social events such as trips to various locations within and without the city (İstanbul trips on weekends, Cappadocia and Ephesus tours), beer pong games, boat parties, pub crawls and many more!
Bogazici University, formerly Robert College, was founded in 1863 by Cyrus Hamlin and is a major research university located on the European side of the Bosphorus strait in İstanbul. With its 4 faculties, 2 schools and 6 institutes, it is continuing to provide education to more than 15.000 studentsand has a mission of producing universal thought, science, and technology in service of humanity, and playing a pioneering role in encouraging the spread of science, culture, and the arts throughout society.
